Christian Counseling

Do I Have To Be a Christian?

We are first and foremost professional counselors with the state of Georgia. Our LPCs (Licensed Professional Counselors), MAs (Master’s Level Counselors), and Interns are all bound by the Code of Ethics instituted by the ACA (American Counseling Association). However, we are able to work with you from a Christian perspective if that is the type of service you feel you need.

  • Touch of Healing Counseling Center does not discriminate against clients due to their race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or any other cultural factors that distinguish an individual.

  • Our counselors care more about who you are, and how they can help make your life better, whatever that looks like.

  • Your counselor can incorporate religion/spirituality into the session if that is important to you.

“Personal Values Counselors are aware of—and avoid imposing—their own values, attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors. Counselors respect the diversity of clients, trainees, and research participants and seek training in areas in which they are at risk of imposing their values onto clients, especially when the counselor’s values are inconsistent with the client’s goals or are discriminatory in nature.”

-American Counseling Association Code of Ethics, A.4.b.
